We are looking for a Warehouse Manager who would be responsible for managing and optimizing our warehouse operations, with a central emphasis on warehousing and inventory administration. The ideal candidate should possess significant experience in warehouse management in an FMCG setup.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Manage inventory levels, stock control, and audits.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Implement safety protocols and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff for productivity.
- Optimize stock levels, delivery schedules and transport costs.
- Manage order processing, inventory control, and operational reporting.
- Resolve operational challenges and ensure timely customer deliveries.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Purchasing & Supply, Economics or a related field
- 5+ years warehouse managerial experience
- Good oral and written English
- Proficient in Excel, Word
- Good report-writing, communication, managerial ability and co-ordination skills
